Our new marketplace is coming to life, and is starting to look very authentic. It’s part of our facility refurbishment that will provide an engaging and stimulating environment for our residents that mimics the main street of Finley and replicates actually living within the Finley community. The incorporation of dementia-friendly design principles will reduce the institutional feel of the residence and provide a local building feel to the site. Our residents will soon have a safe space to roam freely, work in a shop or sit with friends and family, in a safe, secure, staffed area – regardless of their diagnosis. We can’t wait for this modern, homely living project to become a full-fledged reality – and there’s not long to go now!
