Last month our residents enjoyed social club each Wednesday with entertainment from the Ukeladies and Jade Camden. Virtual reality sessions, and men’s group are still being enjoyed on a Tuesday and the pamper sessions are a bit of a hit on a Thursday! Our cinema sessions continue to be a firm favorite with the room being full and residents enjoying a wide range of movies.
In the next few weeks, we will welcome our new Leisure and Lifestyle Team Leader Kristine Bettridge. We look forward to having her on board and being a part of our team. We thank our wonderful volunteers for their continued support with the residents and the Leisure and Lifestyle department this month – we could not do everything without your dedication and help! We are looking forward to another fun and busy month in September, with plenty of sunshine!!
With spring now upon us, we are looking forward to having some activities outdoors soon. Bus outings will be able to commence, as well as having some activities in the garden and under the outdoor dining area.
