Well, Christmas has come and gone. December was a very busy month, with decorations being put up around the facility and staff getting into the Christmas spirit by wearing their Christmas shirts. All our normal activities have continued to run as well as our residents being invited to attend a lovely Christmas luncheon at the RSL Club, with entertainment being supplied by Ray McCartney. Children from St Joseph’s, Finley Primary School and Birralee Preschool came in to sing Christmas Carols for our residents, before we finished off our Christmas celebrations with our resident and families Christmas luncheon put on by our amazing catering team and staff here at Finley Regional Care, and let’s not forget Santa and his number one Elf coming in to serve drinks.
The lifestyle team have been busy organising new and exciting activities for our residents to attend and are all looking forward to what 2024 brings.
