On Wednesday 22nd November we conducted a Welcoming Ceremony and morning tea for our group of 15 trainees who arrived from the Philippines as part of the Groworx program.
Finley Regional Care have undertaken a Training Agreement with the Philippines government to train this group of dedicated workers in the Philippines to the Australian aged care standards and qualifications. The trainees will complete their qualification, work placement and additional on-the-job training here with us at Finley Regional Care over the next six months. We will be assisting each worker to transition to a working Visa at the end of the six-month period to support our workforce and to ensure that we continue to meet all care needs of our residents into the future.
We extend a warm welcome to our new recruits and wish them all the best in adjusting to their new lives here in regional Australia. What an amazing journey and lifechanging experience this will be for them all.
