A strong history and a sound future in aged and general healthcare
On the 1st July 2010, the name Finley Regional Care was established to represent the continual expansion of the aged and community care services delivered to the Riverina region of NSW. As a Community Managed Not-for-profit organisation, “Finley Regional Care” was seen as a fitting name that would not only encompass our present services but would embrace our future journey.
Finley Regional Care is registered under the companies (New South Wales) Code and the Charitable Fundraising Act and is an approved public Benevolent Institution. Finley Regional Care is also approved by the Department of Social Services to care for the Aged and Disabled and all services provided by the organisation are currently accredited according to the Standards set by its peak body.
Positive vision, mission and values in aged and general care
From the inception and throughout the development of all our services, it was imperative that Finley Regional Care establish a positive vision, a strong mission statement and a fundamental set of values on which to underpin our future growth and commitment to the community.
Based on our vision of continually striving for excellence in caring for our community, Finley Regional Care embraces a high standard of quality care that is person centred, progressive, comprehensive and which takes into consideration the lives of the individual, family and community. In the facilitation, promotion and provision of care we recognise the individual’s health status, family and social contact, religion and culture as well as their own special needs.
