We had a wonderful day on Thursday 31st October showing off our gorgeous gardens and home to the community.
The weather, although warm to hot, was actually lovely with just enough breeze to help keep the heat reduced and the flies a little less annoying, and we were finished before the real heat of the day.
Thank you to all our team who helped make this the successful day it was, from preparation prior to the day to helping out on the day. Your teamwork, attention to detail and hard work is greatly appreciated. Special thank you to our hard-working and enthusiastic Auxiliary who provided a fabulous trading table with lots of delicious food and plants for sale.
The Auxiliary also ran a raffle which was drawn on the day – congratulations to Lesley McKellar. Thank you to everyone who supported the Auxiliary’s raffle and trading table.
Thank you so much to Keith and Danny for coming along and providing us with wonderful entertainment out in the Alfresco Area.
It was wonderful to see so many of our residents and clients come along and join us for morning tea and/or lunch. Thank you.
And finally, special thank you to our community members who came from Finley and surrounding towns and visited us for our Open Garden. Going by the smiles, chitchatting and laughter, people very much enjoyed the day.
