Meet Nathan Willoughby, Executive Director of Operations

You are here: Home / General / Meet Nathan Willoughby, Executive Director of Operations

March 12, 2020 //  by Finley Regional Care

Nathan Willoughby hasn’t been at Finley for long, but in the short time he’s been employed here as Executive Director of Operations, he’s been extremely busy getting to know the many residents, clients, family, friends, auxiliary, volunteers, staff and board members who make up the Finley community – and he’s loving it.

If you haven’t yet met Nathan, he shares a bit about his background here:

“I am a registered nurse with over 20 years’ experience in management and leadership positions in both acute hospitals and aged care settings. I always thought I would work in orthopaedic units, but found the parts of the job that I enjoyed – meeting and getting to know people – just wasn’t achievable in modern, production line healthcare. This is why I love working in aged care.

At the moment I live on the outskirts of Wangaratta (yes, I’m a Mexican – south of the border) with my wife of 22 years, Sheree, and our four teenage children.

I’m grateful for the very warm welcome I’ve received at Finely Regional Care – it was this warmth and generosity that made me consider joining the team, and I’m glad I did. There’s some amazing work going on here, making Finley Regional Care a leader in the provision of aged, community and medical care in this region. 2020 is off to a flying start, with many projects and reviews under way, and I’m looking forward to being a part of this team and helping to make Finley Regional Care even better.”

If you have any questions about the day-to-day running of Finley, our quality systems, education, accreditation etc, give Nathan a call at Finley on (02) 5504 6508, as he is always happy to help.
