Finley residents have been enjoying some intriguing new activities at Finley Regional Care. The Gentle Exercises program has recently seen the introduction of Tai Chi, one of the most effective exercises for mental and physical health. The residents have benefited from this regular practice which is useful for slowing down the ageing process, and have embraced it with Zen-like enthusiasm.
Culinary-minded residents have also had the chance to spend some quality time in the kitchen, preparing and cooking lunches for the other residents in their own houses. This has been wonderfully fun and engaging for them, and will continue once a month.
These are just a few of the great activities offered at Finley, and it’s never boring, with the residents having a diverse range of activities to choose from.
