Another one of our wonderful fun activities for our residents and clients was a celebratory ‘Royal Wedding’ luncheon held on Wednesday 16th May, prior to the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, now the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Our residents and clients really enjoyed a delicious buffet luncheon with the students involved in the Finley High School Intergenerational Program attending and helping with the luncheon, which was greatly appreciated. Some of our fabulous volunteers also came along and joined in the fun and provided a helping hand – also greatly appreciated. Keith Haidle, one of our talented Leisure and Lifestyle Staff, entertained everyone with his singing. There were also several gorgeous wedding dresses, deb dresses, bridesmaid and flower girl dresses bought in and displayed, which the residents enjoyed viewing and chatting about the changes in the styles over the years.
