Winter is over and our gardens are showing signs of spring with the magnolia flowering and leaves sprouting. It’s the start of new beginnings.
I would like to welcome on board the new Clinical Coordinator – Sumina Bhusal. Sumina has made her way to Finley from a challenging job in Sydney. She has moved with her husband and will provide much needed support to both the Registered Nurses and myself.
We also have three excellent new carers, Leonie, Caitlyn and Xalia. If you see them around, please make them feel welcome as they join our community.
Di Gray has moved offices into House 4 and 5. She will continue to work closely with Ruth and support Quality outcomes. She will also be imparting her knowledge and expertise to the staff in that area, with a positive impact on care for the residents.
It’s been a busy winter, but we have avoided any major respiratory outbreak and for that we can thank all the staff for their hard work and for family and visitors for only coming in when they were well enough.
